PRIVACY INFORMATION FOR NEWSLETTERS
art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679

This information is provided following EU Regulation of 04/27/2016 n. 679 (hereinafter GDPR) concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as the free movement of such data. It aims to describe the methods of managing the data indicated by the User who registers for the “Newsletter” service present on our site ginoferruzzi.it.

2) Categories of data

Data provided voluntarily by the User. To register and receive our newsletter, you need to enter your name/surname and email address. The voluntary indication of the mentioned personal data does not require further information or requests for consent.
Particular categories of data. For the achievement of the purposes described in point 3) of this information, the Data Controller will not process particular categories of data in any way, as indicated by the articles. 9 and 10 of the GDPR.

3) Purpose of the treatment

Following registration, the User is automatically added to a contact list.
After sending the newsletter subscription request, the User will receive an email asking him to confirm the subscription again. Subscription to the newsletter will only be operational after activating the confirmation link.
The processing of personal data is aimed at direct marketing activities, to send newsletters, promotional sales material, commercial or advertising communications relating to our products, with automated contact methods (email sending).

4) Legal basis

The legal basis of the processing is given by the consent that the User provides at the time of subscription (art. 6 paragraph 1 letter a) GDPR).


5) Nature of data provision
The provision of data is optional and the failure to consent to the processing will make it impossible for Gino Ferruzzi srl to send newsletters or commercial communications.
The User may at any time revoke the consent granted to the processing of his data and therefore disable the service through the appropriate procedure (“unsubscribe” function present in each email sent) or through the methods described below relating to the exercise of his rights . The revocation will take effect for subsequent treatments; therefore, the treatments carried out prior to the revocation remain unchanged.

6) Methods of data processing
The treatment and processing of Data will be carried out using manual and electronic tools, according to logic strictly related to the priorly mentioned purpose, in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of personal data in compliance with the Privacy Law.


7) Access to data
A) Personal data may be made accessible for the purposes described in point 3) to persons in charge and designated for processing appointed and authorized by the Data Controller; employees and collaborators, including external ones, of the Data Controller; they may be communicated following inspections and/or checks (if requested and in fulfillment of the obligations established by current legislation) to all the inspection bodies responsible for checks and controls relating to the regularity of legal obligations; third party service providers whose communication is necessary for the fulfillment of the services, communication and marketing employees, IT system maintenance personnel, system administrators.
The newsletter service is managed through the Mailchimp platform owned by the company “The Rocket Science Group LLC” based in the United States, but which has adhered to the Privacy Shield agreement and is therefore able to guarantee compliance with European legislation regarding the protection of personal data.

8) Automated decision-making processes
The Data Controller adopts automated contact systems (email) and adopts automated decision-making processes through the use of special software, by means of which he examines the preferences and the ways in which he interacts with our services.

9) Storage period
Personal data will be kept for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed. Therefore, the same will be kept until the consent is revoked by the interested party, regardless of the time that has passed.


10) Place of treatment

The data processing takes place in Italy at the offices of the data controller and at the offices of any of its managers. In the event of data transfer to non-EU countries, all guarantees for the protection of the User’s data will be adopted, also by adopting standard contractual clauses.

11) Rights of the interested party.
You can exercise your rights towards the Data Controller at any time. Specifically, the interested party has the right to access personal data by making an appropriate request (Article 15); to obtain the rectification (art.16); to obtain the cancellation of the same (oblivion) ​​(art.17); to obtain the limitation of the treatment that concerns him (art.18); to oppose the treatment (art.21); has the right to data portability (art.20); to revoke the consent without jeopardizing the lawfulness of the treatment provided before the revocation, (art.13 par.2 lett.c); to file a complaint (art.13 par.2 let.d.) with a supervisory authority competent in the field of personal data protection for any violation it deems to have suffered, which for Italy is the “Data Protection Authority Personal” with headquarters in Rome, Piazza Venezia n. 11.

12) How to exercise your rights
Users can send a request by certified mail to ginoferruzzisrl@legalmail.it, or by registered letter to Gino Ferruzzi srl Via Cassia 67 – Loc. Tavarnuzze – 50023 Impruneta (FI) – Italy. Requests are filed free of charge and processed by the Data Controller as soon as possible, in any case within a month.
